Yolandi Scholtz used to be a fulltime teacher with qualifications in inclusive and remedial teaching. She realised that children with learning and reading problems had nowhere to turn to. After an assessment by a specialist most kids were left up to themselves. Parents didn't have anywhere to turn to for help and teachers couldn't refer them to anyone either. When she heard of Edublox for the first time she realised that she had found the answer and a short while later she became the franchise owner for Ballito.

Yolandi loves working with children in a personal environment and the small classes used in the Edublox set-up is ideal for her. She enjoys watching children blossom and gain self confidence. She also believes that she can now finally put to use all those skills in remedial teaching that she was never able to use when she was involved in a formal teaching environment. Being able to give parents a place to turn to is also a big motivating factor for her.

Her husband is a keen spear fisherman and Yolandi accompanies him on his diving trips which she loves even though she doesn't dive herself. She enjoys the ocean and all that a seaside live style offers.
